Dharmāṅgada’s Discourse (Dharmāṅgadopadeśa) in the Mohinī Episode
dharmāṃgadaḥ pratyuvāca dṛṣṭvā natvāgrataḥ sthitaḥ | etadeva gṛhāṇa tvaṃ mā śaṃkāṃ kuru bhāmini || 56 ||
Dharmāṃgada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse highlights dhārmic conduct expressed through humility (bowing) and reassurance—removing doubt so the listener can accept what is right without inner hesitation.
While not explicitly naming Vishnu-bhakti, it reflects a bhakti-aligned attitude: respectful submission and trust, which are foundational for steady devotion and faithful acceptance of guidance.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is ethical communication—speaking to dispel doubt and encourage confident adherence to dharma.
