पलवेधेऽपि विप्रेंद्रा दशम्या वर्जयेच्छिवाम् । सुराया बिंदुना स्पृष्टं यथा गंगाजलंत्यजेत् ॥ ३८ ॥

ହେ ବିପ୍ରେନ୍ଦ୍ରମାନେ, ଅଭାବକାଳରେ (ପଲବେଧେ) ମଧ୍ୟ ଦଶମୀ ଦିନ ଶିବପୂଜା ବର୍ଜନ କରିବା ଉଚିତ; ଯେପରି ସୁରାର ଗୋଟିଏ ବିନ୍ଦୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶିତ ଗଙ୍ଗାଜଳକୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରାଯାଏ।
