Narada (narrating the account within the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya flow)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"vira","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_journey":"Recognition of valor leads to reward and bestowal; the mood rises from heroic accomplishment to wondrous brilliance (sun-crore splendor) and familial joy."}
It highlights the puranic theme that righteous valor (vīrya aligned with dharma) becomes a cause for divine or royal favor, resulting in blessings not only for the hero but also for the family—here, the mother receives a radiant boon.
While the verse is not a direct bhakti instruction, it reflects a bhakti-adjacent puranic ethic: sincere excellence and dharmic action, offered in a spirit of loyalty and reverence, attracts grace (prasāda) that uplifts one’s household.
No explicit Vedanga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) teaching appears in this line; it functions primarily as narrative praise (arthavāda) within a mahatmya-style account.
