Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that sincere dharmic inquiry itself is auspicious (sumaṅgala) and becomes a cause for merit, prosperity, and the upliftment of one’s family line.
By valuing a king’s humble questioning and the sage’s expounding, it highlights the bhakti principle of śravaṇa (reverent hearing) and guidance from a realized teacher as a doorway to auspicious outcomes.
It emphasizes vyākhyāna (systematic explanation) and disciplined inquiry—skills aligned with Vyākaraṇa/Nirukta-style clarity—showing that precise understanding of dharma yields tangible and spiritual benefit.
