Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a Vedanga/Jyotisha context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology) as an ordered, dharma-aligned knowledge system where cosmic forces (grahas) preside over zodiac signs, supporting right timing and discernment in religious life.
Indirectly: by clarifying graha and rāśi rulerships, it supports choosing auspicious times for vows, worship, and Vishnu-oriented observances—helping bhakti be practiced with steadiness and discipline.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: identification of the presiding planets (adhipatis) for Aries and the remaining zodiac signs, a foundational tool for calendrical and ritual timing.
