शुभगो यद्भगस्तद्भिस्न्वादिस्थेन तद्धिकृत् । प्रोक्तेतरस्थानगतस्तत्तद्भावक्षयं करः ॥ १४३ ॥
śubhago yadbhagastadbhisnvādisthena taddhikṛt | proktetarasthānagatastattadbhāvakṣayaṃ karaḥ || 143 ||
‘ଶୁଭଗ’ ରୂପରେ ଅର୍ଥ ‘ଭାଗ୍ୟବାନ’। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ପଦ ସ୍ନ୍ୱାଦି-ଗଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୟ ସହ ଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃବାଚକ ହୋଇ ‘ସେହି ଫଳ ଘଟାଏ’ ବୋଲି ଅର୍ଥ ହୁଏ। ଏବଂ କହାଯାଇଥିବା ପଦ ଅନ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ ହେଲେ, ସେହି ଭାବର କ୍ଷୟ କିମ୍ବା ନାଶ ବୁଝାଏ।
