Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical/vedāṅga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It frames technical discernment (vicakṣaṇatā) as part of dharma: even in liberation-oriented teaching, correct evaluation of auspicious and inauspicious factors supports right action and right timing.
Indirectly: bhakti practice often follows vrata and pūjā schedules; this verse supports choosing proper times by applying Jyotiṣa rules carefully, so devotional acts are performed with clarity and discipline.
Jyotiṣa (a Vedāṅga): it mentions computational adjustment using planetary divisions (bhagaṇa-aṁśa) and distinguishes treatment of malefic (pāpa) versus benefic (saumya) factors.
