Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
sādhu vāsiśchinattyevaṃ sthālī pacati vai mune | dhātoḥ sakarmakādbhāve karmaṇyapi lapratyayāḥ || 84 ||
Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: hasya
It emphasizes that mokṣa-oriented study also requires śāstra-siddhi: correct understanding of language (Vyākaraṇa) so that Vedic and Purāṇic teachings are interpreted precisely, without error.
Indirectly: bhakti practices depend on correct mantra, stotra, and śāstra comprehension. This verse models disciplined scriptural learning as a support for steady devotion rather than emotional confusion.
Vyākaraṇa: it illustrates how transitive roots can appear with kṛt-affixes in bhāva (action) and karma (object) senses, using examples like “the adze cuts” and “the pot cooks.”
