Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
sukhāsukhaṃ mahāsaukhyarūpaṃ tvayi vibhāvyate /
evaṃ devi ! tvayā vyāptaṃ sakalaṃ niṣkalañca yat /
advaitāvasthitaṃ brahma yacca dvaite vyavasthitam

Both worldly experience (pleasure/pain) and transcendent bliss are encompassed by Devī; likewise, both non-dual and dual devotional standpoints are valid within her pervasion—encouraging inclusive, practice-oriented spirituality.
Indirectly underpins dharma and cosmology by affirming one divine ground across all states; as Devi Mahatmyam it functions chiefly as dharma-upadeśa via devotion and praise.
The pairing sakala/niṣkala mirrors tantric metaphysics: the same Śakti is both manifest vibration and silent absolute; liberation is recognizing both as her.
