दर्श च पौर्णमासं च यस्य तिछेत्‌ प्रतिष्ठितम्‌ । इष्टिरष्टाकपालेन कार्या पथिकृतेडग्नये

Transliteration

darśaṁ ca paurṇamāsaṁ ca yasya tiṣṭhet pratiṣṭhitam | iṣṭir aṣṭākapālena kāryā pathikṛte 'gnaye ||

Translation

ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡେୟ କହିଲେ—ଯାହାର ଦର୍ଶ ଓ ପୌର୍ଣ୍ଣମାସ ଯାଗାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ବିଧିମତ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ, ସେ ମାଟିର ଆଠ କପାଳରେ ସଂସ୍କୃତ ହବି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ‘ପଥିକୃତ୍’ ନାମକ ଅଗ୍ନିଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ କରି ଇଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
