Determination of the Means to Liberation

तत्त्वाभेदेन यच्छास्त्रं तत्‌ कार्य नान्यथाविधम्‌ | असमीक्ष्यैव कर्माणि नीतिशास्त्रं यथाविधि

Transliteration

tattvābhedena yacchāstraṃ tat kāryaṃ nānyathāvidham | asamīkṣyaiva karmāṇi nītiśāstraṃ yathāvidhi ||

Translation

ଦ୍ୟୁମତ୍ସେନ କହିଲେ—ଯେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱର ସତ୍ୟ ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ଅନୁସାରେ ନୀତି ଓ ଦଣ୍ଡବିଧାନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ କରେ, ସେହି ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ଯଥାବିଧି ଯେପରି କୁହାଯାଇଛି ସେପରି ହିଁ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବା ଉଚିତ; ଅନ୍ୟଥା ନୁହେଁ। ଅପରାଧୀର କର୍ମକୁ ଭଲଭାବେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା ନ କରି ଏବଂ ନୀତିଶାସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ଯଥାବିଧି ବିଚାର ନ କରି ନିୟମବିରୋଧୀ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।
