अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
प्रकर्षणाकर्षणा भ्यामनुकर्षविकर्षणै: । आचर्कर्षतुरन्योन्यं जानुभिश्वावजघ्नतु:,वे एक-दूसरेको पीछे ढकेलते और आगे खींचते थे। बार-बार खींचतान और छीना- झपटी करते थे। दोनोंने अपने प्रहारोंसे एक-दूसरेके शरीरमें खरौंच एवं घाव पैदा कर दिये और दोनों दोनोंको पटककर घुटनोंसे मारने तथा रगड़ने लगे
prakarṣaṇākarṣaṇābhyām anukarṣavikarṣaṇaiḥ | ācarakarṣatur anyonyaṃ jānubhiś cāvajaghnatuḥ ||
ସେମାନେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଜୋରେ ଠେଲି ଓ ଟାଣି—ବାରମ୍ବାର ଟାଣାଟାଣି କରି—ନିକଟ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗୁଞ୍ଜିଗଲେ। ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ପ୍ରହାରରେ ଦେହରେ ଖରୋଚ ଓ ଘାଉ ହେଲା; ତାପରେ ଏକାପରକୁ ପକାଇ ଘୁଁଟିରେ ମାରି ଓ ଚେପି ଘସିଲେ—ପ୍ରତିସ୍ପର୍ଧାର ତାପରେ ସଂଯମ ଭୁଲି।
