अर्जुनस्य दिग्विजयारम्भः — Arjuna Initiates the Northern Campaign and Secures Bhagadattta’s Tribute
तद् भीममुत्सार्यजनं युद्धमासीदुपप्लवे । बलिनो: संयुगे राजन् वृत्रवासवयोरिव,राजन्! उस समरभूमिमें जहाँ वृत्रासुर और इन्द्रकी भाँति उन दोनों बलवान वीरोंमें संघर्ष छिड़ा था, ऐसा भयंकर युद्ध हुआ कि दर्शकलोग दूर भाग खड़े हुए
tad bhīmam utsārya-janaṁ yuddham āsīd upaplave | balinoḥ saṁyuge rājan vṛtra-vāsavayor iva ||
ହେ ରାଜନ! ତେବେ ଭୟରେ ଦର୍ଶକମାନେ ଦୂରକୁ ସରିଗଲେ, ଏବଂ ଉପପ୍ଲବରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେଲା। ସେ ଦୁଇ ବଳବାନଙ୍କ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଯେପରି ବୃତ୍ର ଓ ବାସବ (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର)ର ଯୁଦ୍ଧ।
