विप्रवादा: सुबहव: श्रूयन्ते पुत्रकारिता: । अत्र नो मुहतां राजन् संशयं छेत्तुमहसि
vipravādāḥ subahavaḥ śrūyante putrakāritāḥ | atra no muhatāṃ rājan saṃśayaṃ chettum arhasi ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ପୁତ୍ରୋତ୍ପତ୍ତି ବିଷୟରେ ବିଦ୍ୱାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅନେକ ଓ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ମତ ଶୁଣାଯାଏ। ହେ ରାଜନ! ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ଆମେ ମୋହିତ ହୋଇ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କରିପାରୁନାହୁଁ; ତେଣୁ ଆପଣ ଆମ ସନ୍ଦେହ ଛେଦନ କରନ୍ତୁ।
