प्रेषितस्तेन विप्रेण कन्यापित्रा द्विजर्षभ । तवोपदेशं कर्तु वै तच्च सर्व कृतं मया

Transliteration

preṣitas tena vipreṇa kanyāpitṛā dvijarṣabha | tavopadeśaṁ kartu vai tac ca sarvaṁ kṛtaṁ mayā ||

Translation

ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଦ୍ୱିଜଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ! ସେଇ କନ୍ୟାର ପିତା ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ ମୋତେ ତୁମକୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ; ସେ ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ମୁଁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଦେଇଛି।
