Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
ହୃଦୟରେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ମୋର ଏହି ମନୋଭାବ ଜାଣି ଦେବଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ (ଶିବ) ମୋତେ କହିଲେ—“ମୁନେ! ମୋ ପ୍ରତି ତୁମର ଯେ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା-ଆକାଙ୍କ୍ଷା, ତାହାର ଫଳରେ ତୁମକୁ ‘କୃଷ୍ଣ’ ନାମକ ପୁତ୍ର ମିଳିବ।”
