Anuśāsana-parva 17
महातपा घोरतपा अदीनो दीनसाधक: । संवत्सरकरो मन्त्र: प्रमाणं परमं तप:
mahātapā ghoratapā adīno dīnasādhakaḥ | saṃvatsarakaro mantraḥ pramāṇaṃ paramaṃ tapaḥ ||
ବାୟୁ କହିଲେ— ସେ ମହାତପସ୍ବୀ, ଘୋର ତପସ୍ୟାରେ ଦୀପ୍ତ; ଉଦାର, ଏବଂ ଶରଣାଗତ ଦୀନ-ଦୁଃଖୀଙ୍କ ଆଶା ପୂରଣକାରୀ। ସେ ସଂବତ୍ସରର ନିର୍ମାତା; ସେ ପ୍ରଣବ ଆଦି ମନ୍ତ୍ରସ୍ୱରୂପ; ସେ ପ୍ରମାଣ—ସତ୍ୟ ଅଧିକାର—ଏବଂ ତପସ୍ୟାର ପରମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ।
