बलवांश्वोपशान्तश्न पुराण: पुण्यचज्चुरी । कुरुकर्ता कुरुवासी कुरुभूतो गुणीषध:

Transliteration

balavān śvopaśāntaś ca purāṇaḥ puṇyacakṣuḥ | īśaḥ kurukartā kuruvāsī kurubhūto guṇauṣadhaḥ ||

Translation

ବାୟୁଦେବ କହିଲେ—ସେ ବଳବାନ ଓ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶାନ୍ତ; ଆଦିପୁରୁଷ; ପୁଣ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାରା ଜଣାପଡୁଥିବା ଧର୍ମ-ନେତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ; କରୁଣାମୟ ପ୍ରଭୁ—କୁରୁକ୍ଷେତ୍ରର କର୍ତ୍ତା, କୁରୁକ୍ଷେତ୍ରବାସୀ, ଏବଂ କୁରୁକ୍ଷେତ୍ର-ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନିଜେ; ତଥା ଜ୍ଞାନ-ବୈରାଗ୍ୟ ଆଦି ଗୁଣ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରୁଥିବା ଔଷଧି ସମାନ।
