Adhyāya 142: Cyavana, the Devas’ Arrogance, and Vāyu’s Counsel on Protecting Brāhmaṇas
अवर्षति च पर्जन्ये सर्वभूतानि देवराट् । वसिष्ठो जीवयामास येन यातो$क्षयां गतिम्
avarṣati ca parjanye sarvabhūtāni devarāṭ | vasiṣṭho jīvayāmāsa yena yāto 'kṣayāṃ gatim ||
ଭୀଷ୍ମ କହିଲେ— ବର୍ଷା ନହେବାରୁ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ କଷ୍ଟ ପାଇଲେ; ତେବେ ମୁନିବର ବସିଷ୍ଠ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବନଦାନ ଦେଇ ପୁନର୍ଜୀବିତ କଲେ; ସେହି ପୁଣ୍ୟରେ ସେ ଅକ୍ଷୟ ଗତି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କଲେ।
