अर्द्धमानाश्च विबुधा ग्रहेण सुबलीयसा । शिवदत्तवरान्‌ जष्नुरसुरेन्द्रान सुरा भूशम्‌

Transliteration

arddhamānāś ca vibudhā graheṇa subalīyasā | śivadattavarān jaṣṇur asurendrān surā bhūśam ||

Translation

ବାସୁଦେବ କହିଲେ—ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବଳବାନ ଗ୍ରହ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ପୀଡ଼ନ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଦେବତାମାନେ ଚାପରେ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶିବଦତ୍ତ ବରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଅସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରି ପରାଜିତ କଲେ; ଏଭଳି ଭାବେ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଚାଲିରହିଲା।
