कान्यकुब्जे महानासीत् पार्थिवो भरतर्षभ । गाधीति विश्रुतो लोके कुशिकस्यात्मसम्भव:,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! कान्यकुब्ज देशमें एक बहुत बड़े राजा थे, जो इस लोकमें गाधिके नामसे विख्यात थे। वे कुशिकके औरस पुत्र बताये जाते हैं
kānyakubje mahān āsīt pārthivo bharatarṣabha | gādhīti viśruto loke kuśikasyātmasambhavaḥ ||
ହେ ଭରତଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ! କାନ୍ୟକୁବ୍ଜରେ ଏକ ମହାନ ରାଜା ଥିଲେ; ସେ ଲୋକେ ‘ଗାଧି’ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଥିଲେ। ସେ କୁଶିକଙ୍କ ସତ୍ୟ ପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ।
