देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च
स्कन्धः स्कन्धधरो धुर्यः प्रकटः प्रीतिवर्धनः अपराजितः सर्वसहो विदग्धः सर्ववाहनः

ସେ ସ୍କନ୍ଧ—ଆଧାରସ୍ତମ୍ଭ; ସ୍କନ୍ଧଧର, ଧୁର୍ୟ—ଜଗତ୍ଭାରବାହୀ ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ। ସେ ପ୍ରକଟ, ସ୍ୱୟଂପ୍ରକାଶ, ଭକ୍ତିର ପ୍ରୀତି ବଢ଼ାନ୍ତି। ସେ ଅପରାଜିତ, ସର୍ବସହ—ସବୁ ସହନଶୀଳ; ବିଦଗ୍ଧ—ପରମ ବିବେକୀ, ଏବଂ ସର୍ବବାହନ—ସମସ୍ତ ଯାନ/ଉପାୟର ଧାରକ‑ନିୟନ୍ତା, ଯିଏ ପ୍ରାଣୀଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଧନରୁ ମୋକ୍ଷପଥେ ଗତି ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
