न तस्य शक्यते वक्तुं पुण्यं शतयुगैरपि जीर्णं वा पतितं वापि खण्डितं स्फुटितं तथा

Transliteration

na tasya śakyate vaktuṃ puṇyaṃ śatayugairapi jīrṇaṃ vā patitaṃ vāpi khaṇḍitaṃ sphuṭitaṃ tathā

Translation

ସେଇ (ଶିବଲିଙ୍ଗ-ପୂଜା)ରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ପୁଣ୍ୟକୁ ଶତ ଯୁଗରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କହିହେବ ନାହିଁ। ଲିଙ୍ଗ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ପତିତ, ଖଣ୍ଡିତ କିମ୍ବା ଫାଟିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଭକ୍ତିର ପୂଜା ନିଷ୍ଫଳ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
