Shloka 23

भुवनकोशस्वभाववर्णनम् — सप्तद्वीप-पर्वत-लोकविन्यासः तथा यक्ष-उमा-प्रकाशः

योजनानां सहस्राणि ऊर्ध्वं पञ्चाशदुच्छ्रितः तावदेव तु विस्तीर्णः पार्श्वतः परिमण्डलः

yojanānāṃ sahasrāṇi ūrdhvaṃ pañcāśaducchritaḥ tāvadeva tu vistīrṇaḥ pārśvataḥ parimaṇḍalaḥ

ସେ ପଞ୍ଚାଶତ୍ ସହସ୍ର ଯୋଜନ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛ୍ରିତ; ତତ୍ତିକି ହିଁ ବିସ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ଏବଂ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱତଃ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିମଣ୍ଡଳାକାର—ପାଶବଦ୍ଧ ପଶୁର ସୀମିତ ପହଞ୍ଚକୁ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରୁଥିବା ପତି (ଶିବ)ଙ୍କ ଅପ୍ରମେୟ ଲିଙ୍ଗ-ଚିହ୍ନ।
