क्षत्रियः। को अस्या नो द्रुहोऽवद्यवत्या उन्नेष्यति क्षत्रियो वस्य इच्छन्। को यज्ञकामः क उ पूर्तिकामः को देवेषु वनुते दीर्घमायुः

kó asyā́ no druhó ’vadyávatyā únneṣyati kṣatríyo vásya ícchan | kó yajñákāmaḥ ká u pū́rtikāmaḥ kó devéṣu vanute dīrghám-ā́yuḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Who shall deliver us from the hurt of her that is blame-laden—what Kṣatriya, seeking the better good? Who, fain for sacrifice, who indeed fain for pious ‘completions,’ who among the Gods wins length of life?

କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟ। ଦୋଷଭାରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ତାହାର ଦ୍ରୋହଜନିତ ପୀଡାରୁ ଆମକୁ କିଏ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ—ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ହିତ ଇଚ୍ଛୁକ କେଉଁ କ୍ଷତ୍ରିୟ? କିଏ ଯଜ୍ଞକାମ, କିଏ ପୂର୍ତ୍ତିକାମ? ଦେବମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଦୀର୍ଘ ଆୟୁ ଲାଭ କରେ?
