धाता दाधार पृथिवीं धाता द्यामुत सूर्यम्। धातास्या अग्रुवै पतिं दधातु प्रतिकाम्यऽम्

IAST Transliteration

dhātā́ dādhāra pṛthivī́ṃ dhātā́ dyā́m utá sū́ryam | dhātā́syā́ ágruvai pátiṃ dadhātu pratikā́myam

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Dhātṛ hath set firm the Earth; Dhātṛ the Heaven, and the Sun: so may Dhātṛ for this maiden appoint a husband answering to desire.

Translation

ଧାତା ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ଭାବେ ଧାରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି; ଧାତା ଦ୍ୟାଉ (ଆକାଶ) ଓ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସେଇ ଧାତା ଏହି କନ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସାର (ପ୍ରତିକାମ୍ୟ) ପତିଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ/ସ୍ଥାପନ କରୁନ୍ତୁ।
