अधरोऽधर उत्तरेभ्यो गूढः पृथिव्या मोत् सृपत्। वज्रेणावहतः शयाम्

IAST Transliteration

adháro’dhara úttarebhyo gūḍháḥ pṛthivyā́ mā́ út sṛ́pat | vájreṇā́vahatáḥ śayām

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Lower, yea lower than the upper folk—hidden in the earth—let him not creep forth upward. Smitten down with the thunderbolt, may he lie.

ଉପର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଧିକ ତଳେ—ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ରହୁ; ଉପରକୁ ସରି ବାହାରି ନ ଆସୁ। ବଜ୍ରାଘାତରେ ପତିତ ହୋଇ ସେ ପଡ଼ି ରହୁ।
