Sukta 53
क ईं वेद सुते सचा पिबन्तं कद् वयो दधे । अयं यः पुरो विभिनत्त्योजसा मन्दानः शिप्र्यन्धसः
ká īṃ veda suté sacā píbantaṃ kád váyo dadhe | ayáṃ yáḥ púro vibhínatty ójasā mandānáḥ śípry ándhasaḥ ||
Who, verily, knows him—drinking in company at the Soma pressed—what vital might he hath assumed? This is he who shatters forts by force, exhilarated, O Śipri, with the Soma’s juice.
ସୋମ ପିଷିତ (ସୁତେ) ହେବା ପରେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ପିଉଥିବା ତାଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଜାଣେ? ସେ କେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣଶକ୍ତି ଧାରଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି? ଏହି ସେଇ, ଯିଏ ବଳରେ ଦୁର୍ଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଦେ; ହେ ଶିପ୍ରି, ସୋମରସରେ ମତ୍ତ (ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ) ହୋଇ।
