वि द्यामेषि रजस्पृथ्वहर्मिमानो अक्तुभिः । पश्यं जन्मानि सूर्य

ví dyā́m eṣi rájaḥ-pṛthu áhaḥ mímāno aktúbhiḥ | páśyañ jánmāni sū́rya

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Forth through the heaven thou goest, broad through the mid-air, meting out the day by nights, beholding births, O Sūrya.

ହେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ତୁମେ ଦ୍ୟୌ (ଆକାଶ) ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ବ୍ୟାପି ଆଗକୁ ଯାଉଛ; ରଜସ୍ (ଅନ୍ତରିକ୍ଷ) ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ବିଶାଳ ଭାବେ ଗତି କରୁଛ; ରାତ୍ରିମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦିନକୁ ମାପୁଛ; ଜନ୍ମମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ କରୁଛ।
