अस्तावि मन्म पूर्व्यं ब्रह्मेन्द्राय वोचत । पूर्वीरृतस्य बृहतीरनूषत स्तोतुर्मेघा असृक्षत
ástāvi mánma pū́rvyaṃ bráhméndrāya vocata | pū́vīr ṛtásya bṛhatī́r anūṣata stotúr meghā́ asṛkṣata
The ancient thought is lauded; the holy spell for Indra is uttered. The many lofty strains of Order have sounded forth: the singer’s clouds have been loosed abroad.
ପୁରାତନ ମନନ ସ୍ତୁତିତ ହେଲା; ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର ବ୍ରହ୍ମ (ମନ୍ତ୍ର) ଉଚ୍ଚାରିତ ହେଲା। ଋତ (ଧର୍ମ-କ୍ରମ)ର ଅନେକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଗୀତ ଧ୍ୱନିତ ହେଲା; ସ୍ତୋତାଙ୍କ ମେଘ (ବାଣୀର ମେଘ) ମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରସାରିତ ହେଲା।
