एवा महान् बृहद्दिवो अथर्वावोचत् स्वां तन्व१मिन्द्रमेव। स्वसारौ मातरिभ्वरी अरिप्रे हिन्वन्ति चैने शवसा वर्धयन्ति च

IAST Transliteration

evá mahā́n bṛhád-divó athárvā́vocat svā́ṃ tanvàm índram evá | svásārau mātáribhvarī arí-pre hínvanti cainaṃ śávasā vardháyanti ca ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thus spake Atharvan of the wide heaven, making Indra great in his own embodied might. The two Sister-powers, mother-moving, in the press of foes, impel him, and with force they strengthen him.

Translation

ଏଭଳି ବିଶାଳ ଦ୍ୟୌଲୋକର ଅଥର୍ବନ କହିଲେ—ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ତନୁ (ଦେହ-ଶକ୍ତି)ରେ ମହାନ କରି। ଦୁଇ ଭଗିନୀ-ଶକ୍ତି, ମାତରିଭ୍ୱରୀ (ମାତାକୁ ଗତି ଦେବାଳି), ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ଚାପରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରିତ କରନ୍ତି; ଏବଂ ବଳରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଢ଼ାଇ ଦୃଢ଼ କରନ୍ତି।
