Sukta 93
By Dr. Sachchidanand Pathak, U.P. Sanskrit Sansthan, Lucknow, India.
abhí prá gopátiṃ giríndram arca yáthā vidé | sūtúṃ satyásya sátpatiṃ
Forth—toward the Lord of cattle, the Mountain-Indra—sing thou, that we may win success: the Impeller of Truth, the Lord of the Good.
Rishi: Traditionally RV-derived Indra-stuti; in AV 20 the r̥ṣi follows the RV source attribution (Indra hymn tradition).
Devata: Indra
Chandas: Triṣṭubh/Jagatī complex in RV sources; AV 20 often preserves RV meters (this pāda-structure suggests RV-style rather than simple Anuṣṭubh).
