अनु प्रत्नस्यौकसः प्रियमेधास एषाम्। पूर्वामनु प्रयतिं वृक्तबर्हिषो हितप्रयस आशत

IAST Transliteration

ánu pratnásyaukásaḥ priyámédhāsa eṣām | pū́rvām ánu práyatiṃ vṛ́ktabarhiṣo hitáprayasa āśata

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Following the ancient seat, these dear-offerers—having strewn the grass and set the oblations—attained, in accordance with the former course, the appointed rite’s successful end.

ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ଆସନ (ଔକସ)କୁ ଅନୁସରି, ଏହି ପ୍ରିୟ-ମେଧାସମାନେ—ବର୍ହିସ୍ (ଯଜ୍ଞ-ଘାସ) ପିଛାଇ ଏବଂ ହବିଷ୍ ଅର୍ପଣର ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି—ପୂର୍ବ ପଥ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ଯତି (ବିଧି-କ୍ରମ)ର ସଫଳ ଶେଷକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
