Sukta 24
परीदं वासो अधिथाः स्वस्तयेऽभूर्वापीनामभिशस्तिपा उ । शतं च जीव शरदः पुरूचीर्वसूनि चारुर्वि भजासि जीवन्
párī́daṃ vā́so adhithāḥ svastáye ’bhū́r vāpīnā́m abhíśastipā́ u | śatáṃ ca jī́va śarádaḥ purūcī́r vásūni cā́rur ví bhajāsi jī́van
Round thee thou hast assumed this garment for welfare; thou hast become, indeed, a warder from imprecation for the pools. Live thou a hundred years, yea many autumns; and, living, in seemly wise divide and enjoy thy goods.
କଲ୍ୟାଣ ପାଇଁ ତୁମେ ଏହି ବସ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ଚାରିଦିଗରେ ଧାରଣ କରିଛ; ଏବଂ ପୋଖରୀ/କୁଣ୍ଡମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅଭିଶାପରୁ ରକ୍ଷକ ହୋଇଛ। ତୁମେ ଶତବର୍ଷ—ବହୁ ଶରଦ୍ଋତୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ—ଜୀବ; ଏବଂ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ଥାଇ, ଶୋଭନ ଭାବେ, ନିଜ ବସୁ (ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି) ବଣ୍ଟି ଉପଭୋଗ କର।
