Sukta 10
शं नः सोमो भवतु ब्रह्म शं नः शं नो ग्रावाणः शमु सन्तु यज्ञाः । शं नः स्वरूणा मितयो भवन्तु शं नः प्रस्वः१ शम्वस्तु वेदिः
śáṃ naḥ sómo bhavatu bráhma śáṃ naḥ | śáṃ no grā́vāṇaḥ śám u santu yajñā́ḥ | śáṃ naḥ svarū́ṇā mitáyo bhavantu | śáṃ naḥ prasváḥ śám vastu védíḥ ||
Weal be to us: may Soma be for our good; weal be to us from the sacred prayer. Weal be to us: weal, indeed, may the pressing-stones be; and may the sacrifices be weal. Weal be to us: may the fair-formed measures be; weal be to us: weal be increase, weal the dwelling, weal the altar.
ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ସୋମ ଆମ ହିତକର ହେଉ; ବ୍ରହ୍ମ (ପବିତ୍ର ମନ୍ତ୍ର-ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା) ଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ। ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ଗ୍ରାବାଣ (ପିଷଣ/ପୀଡନ ପଥର) ଶୁଭକର ହେଉ; ଯଜ୍ଞମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶୁଭରୂପ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ। ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ସୁରୂପ ମିତି/ମାପ ଶୁଭକର ହେଉ; ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ପ୍ରସ୍ୱଃ (ବୃଦ୍ଧି/ସମୃଦ୍ଧି) ଶୁଭ ହେଉ, ବସ୍ତି (ନିବାସ) ଶୁଭ ହେଉ, ଏବଂ ବେଦି (ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି) ମଧ୍ୟ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ।
