शं नो द्यावापृथिवी पूर्वहूतौ शमन्तरिक्षं दृशये नो अस्तु । शं न ओषधीर्वनिनो भवन्तु शं नो रजसस्पतिरस्तु जिष्णुः

IAST Transliteration

śáṃ no dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ pū́rva-hūtau | śám antárikṣaṃ dṛśáye no astu | śáṃ na óṣadhīr vaníno bhavantu | śáṃ no rájasaḥ pátir astu jíṣṇuḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Weal be to us from Heaven and Earth, invoked from of old; weal—may the midspace be for our seeing. Weal be to us: may the forest herbs be kindly; weal be to us: may the victorious Lord of the region be present.

Translation

ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ପୁରାତନକାଳରୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନିତ ଦ୍ୟାବା-ପୃଥିବୀ (ଆକାଶ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ) ଠାରୁ; ଆମ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ ଅନ୍ତରିକ୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶୁଭକର ହେଉ। ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ବନର ଓଷଧୀ (ଔଷଧି) ମୃଦୁ ଓ ଉପକାରୀ ହେଉ; ଆମ ପାଇଁ ଶୁଭ ହେଉ—ରଜସର ପତି, ବିଜୟୀ (ଜିଷ୍ଣୁ) ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସନ୍ନିହିତ ରହୁ।
