उपहूता नः पितरः सोम्यासो बर्हिष्येऽषु निधिषु प्रियेषु । त आ गमन्तु त इह श्रुवन्त्वधि ब्रुवन्तु तेऽवन्त्वस्मान्
upahūtā́ naḥ pitáraḥ somyā́so barhiṣyé ’ṣú nidhíṣu priyéṣu | tá ā́ gamantu tá ihá śruvántv ádhi bruvantu té ’vantu asmā́n
Invited are our Fathers, Soma-worthy: swiftly to the barhis, to the treasured, dear deposits. Let them come hither; here let them hearken; let them speak with authority; let them help and guard us.
ଆମ ପିତୃମାନେ—ସୋମ୍ୟ (ସୋମ-ଯୋଗ୍ୟ)—ଆହ୍ୱାନିତ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ବର୍ହିଷ୍ୟେ (ବର୍ହିସ୍ ଉପରେ), ଏହି ପ୍ରିୟ ଓ ନିଧି-ସଦୃଶ ନିକ୍ଷେପମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆସୁନ୍ତୁ। ସେମାନେ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସୁନ୍ତୁ; ଏଠାରେ ଶୁଣୁନ୍ତୁ; ଅଧିକାରପୂର୍ବକ କଥା କହୁନ୍ତୁ; ଏବଂ ଆମକୁ ସହାୟ କରି ରକ୍ଷା କରୁନ୍ତୁ।
