Sukta 3
सुकर्मानः सुरुचो देवयन्तो अयो न देवा जनिमा धमन्तः । शुचन्तो अग्निं वावृधन्त इन्द्रमुर्वीं गव्यां परिषदं नो अक्रन्
sukármāṇaḥ surúco devayánto áyo ná devā́ jánimā dhámantaḥ | śúcanto agním vāvṛdhánta índram urvī́ṃ gavyā́ṃ paríṣadaṃ no akran ||
Good workers, fair-shining, godward, like gods forging as with iron the very birth—being pure they strengthened Agni; and Indra they strengthened; and for us they made a wide, cattle-rich enclosure and assembly-seat.
ସୁକର୍ମୀ, ସୁପ୍ରଭାମୟ, ଦେବଭାବରେ ଦେବମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିବା—ଲୋହାରେ ଘଡ଼ାଯାଉଥିବା ପରି ଦେବମାନେ ଜନ୍ମକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଘଡ଼ନ୍ତି ଯେପରି—ଶୁଚି ହୋଇ ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କଲେ; ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବୃଦ୍ଧି କଲେ; ଏବଂ ଆମ ପାଇଁ ବିଶାଳ, ଗୋସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଘେରା ଓ ପରିଷଦ-ଆସନ ତିଆରି କଲେ।
