लब्धलाभापगमने यस्यामित्रो लाभेन शक्त्या हीनः स पार्ष्णिग्राहोऽतिसंधत्ते यस्य वा यातव्यः शत्रोर्विग्रहापकारसमर्थः स्यात् ॥ कZ_०७.१३.२१ ॥

Transliteration

labdhalābhāpagamane yasyāmitro lābhena śaktyā hīnaḥ sa pārṣṇigrāho 'tisaṃdhatte yasya vā yātavyaḥ śatror vigrahāpakārasamarthaḥ syāt

Translation

ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଲବ୍ଧ ଲାଭ ହାରାଇଯିବାର ଆଶଙ୍କା ଥିଲେ, ସେହି ଲାଭରେ ସମ୍ପଦ ଓ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ହୀନ ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଥିବା ଶତ୍ରୁ ଯାହାର, ତାହାର ରାଜାଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ପାର୍ଷ୍ଣିଗ୍ରାହ (ପଛ ଶତ୍ରୁ) ‘ଅତିସନ୍ଧି’ କରେ। ଏହିପରି, ଯାହାର ଯାତବ୍ୟ (ଯାହାଉପରେ ଅଭିଯାନ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ) ଶତ୍ରୁଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଅପକାର ଦ୍ୱାରା କ୍ଷତି କରିବାରେ ସମର୍ଥ ଥାଏ, ସେଥିରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ଅତିସନ୍ଧି କରେ।
