Concept: Amatra (beyond measure) indicates the transcendent aspect of Oṃ; dissolution of measures implies laya into the non-dual auspicious reality.

Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti

It teaches mantra-metaphysics: identifying the deity with Oṃ (Omkāra) and with states beyond mātrā (measure/phonetic quantity), indicating a meditative method where sound and its ‘measure’ dissolve into the non-dual absolute.
It blends devotional name-recitation (nāma-stotra) with technical phonetic and metaphysical categories (Omkāra, mātrā, dissolution of duality), showing how Agni Purana integrates ritual-devotional practice with philosophical and linguistic concepts.
Contemplating and reciting these names frames the deity as the non-dual, auspicious reality; the ‘removal of duality’ is presented as purification of perception, supporting liberation-oriented merit (puṇya) through mantra and meditation.
