It highlights practical dharma-vidhi: maintaining ritual purity (śauca), performing bali-offerings (bali-karma), observing postpartum regimen (sūtikā), and applying protective rites (rakṣā) as beneficial household disciplines.
In a single line it links multiple applied domains—purification law (śauca), propitiatory ritual (bali), maternal/postnatal care (sūtikā), and apotropaic protection (rakṣā)—showing the text’s wide coverage of daily-life religion, health, and safeguarding practices.
By prescribing purity, offerings, and protective observances—especially around vulnerable times like childbirth—it frames these acts as consistently welfare-producing (hitā), supporting auspiciousness, reducing impurity-related faults, and securing well-being for beings in the household.
