କଥାବସ୍ତୁର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଅର୍ଥପ୍ରକୃତି କ୍ରମେ—ବୀଜ, ବିନ୍ଦୁ, ପତାକା, ପ୍ରକରୀ ଓ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ। ଏହାଙ୍କ ସହ ସମନ୍ୱୟରେ କ୍ରମାନୁସାରେ ପାଞ୍ଚ ‘ଚେଷ୍ଟା’ (ନାଟ୍ୟ-ଗତି) ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଛି।
