FAQs

It prescribes the correct ritual response to an inauspicious omen linked with planetary disturbance: perform pūjā with namaskāra (reverential salutation) and use “svāhā” as the concluding utterance for oblations in homa.

It exemplifies the text’s practical cataloging of applied religious knowledge—combining omenology (nimitta), Jyotiṣa-based graha-doṣa concepts, and precise liturgical procedure (pūjā/homa syntax such as svāhā-anta).

By responding to a perceived graha-doṣa with proper worship and correctly formed fire-offerings, the practitioner seeks purification, pacification of adverse influences, and restoration of auspiciousness (śānti).
