Chapter 365 — क्षत्रविट्शूद्रवर्गाः
The Classes of Kṣatriyas, Vaiśyas, and Śūdras
तूणोपासङ्गतूणीरनिषङ्गा इषुधिर्द्वयोः असिरृष्टिश् च निस्त्रिंशः करवालः कृपालःकृपाणवत्
tūṇopāsaṅgatūṇīraniṣaṅgā iṣudhirdvayoḥ asirṛṣṭiś ca nistriṃśaḥ karavālaḥ kṛpālaḥkṛpāṇavat
‘ତୂଣ’, ‘ଉପାସଙ୍ଗ’, ‘ତୂଣୀର’ ଓ ‘ନିଷଙ୍ଗ’—ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୂଣୀର/ତରକଶ (ତାହାର ଭେଦ) ନାମ; ‘ଇଷୁଧି’ ଶବ୍ଦଟି ମଧ୍ୟ ଉଭୟ ଅର୍ଥରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ତୂଣୀର ଓ ଶର-ଧାରକ ପାତ୍ର, ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ। ଧାରାଳ ଶସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ‘ଅସି’ ଓ ‘ଋଷ୍ଟି’ (ତଳୱାର ଓ ଭାଲ), ‘ନିସ୍ତ୍ରିଂଶ’, ‘କରୱାଳ’, ‘କୃପାଳ’ ଓ ‘କୃପାଣ’—ଏସବୁ ଖଡ୍ଗସଦୃଶ ଶସ୍ତ୍ରନାମ।
