ବନ୍ଧନ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚାଟନ ବିଷୟରେ କ୍ରମେ ‘ଜ’ ଓ ‘ଖ’—ଏହି ଅକ୍ଷର-ସଙ୍କେତ ଶିଖାଯାଇଛି; ଏବଂ ‘ଏଠାରେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ (ଅଧିକାରିଣୀ) ନୁହେଁ’ ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଇଛି। ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଆଗ୍ନେୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଶେଷରେ ‘ନମଃ’ ଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ସେ ସୌମ୍ୟ ହୁଏ; ଏବଂ ସୌମ୍ୟ ମନ୍ତ୍ର ଶେଷରେ ‘ଫଟ୍’ ଯୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ସେ ଆଗ୍ନେୟ ହୁଏ।
