तपः किमर्थं तच्छंस किमभिप्रेतमुच्यताम् सो ऽब्रवीत् को भवान् ब्रूहि ममात्मानं सुहृत्तया

Transliteration

tapaḥ kimarthaṃ tacchaṃsa kimabhipretamucyatām so 'bravīt ko bhavān brūhi mamātmānaṃ suhṛttayā

Translation

«ဤတပဿကို ဘာအတွက် လုပ်သနည်း၊ ထိုအကြောင်းကို ပြောပါ၊ သင်ရည်ရွယ်သမျှကို ထုတ်ဖော်ပြောကြားပါ» ဟုဆို၏။ ထိုသူက ပြန်ဆိုသည်– «သင်သည် မည်သူနည်း၊ မိတ်ဆွေကဲ့သို့ စေတနာဖြင့် သင်၏အတ္တကို ပြောပြပါ»။
