Kena Upanishad 12 — Verse 12

स तस्मिन्नेवाकाशे स्त्रियमाजगाम बहुशोभमानामुमां हैमवतीम्। तां ह उवाच—किमेतद्यक्षमिति॥१२॥

सः । तस्मिन् । एव । आकाशे । स्त्रियम् । आजगाम । बहु-शोभमानाम् । उमाम् । हैमवतीम् । ताम् । ह । उवाच । किम् । एतत् । यक्षम् । इति ॥१२॥

sa tasminn evākāśe striyam ājagāma bahuśobhamānām umāṃ haimavatīm | tāṃ ha uvāca—kim etad yakṣam iti ||12||

ထိုအာကာသအတွင်း၌ပင် အိန္ဒြာသည် အလွန်တောက်ပသည့် အုမာ ဟိမဝတီ ဟူသော မိန်းမတစ်ဦးကို တွေ့လာ하였다။ ထို့နောက် သူမအား “ဤ ယက္ခ သည် အဘယ်နည်း” ဟု မေး하였다။

He (Indra) came, in that very space, upon a woman—Uma Haimavatī—radiant with great splendor. He said to her: “What is this Yakṣa?”
