Atma Upanishad 18 — Verse 18

इतस्ततश्चाल्यमानो यत्किञ्चित्प्राणवायुना ।

स्रोतसा नीयते दारु यथा निम्नोन्नतस्थलम्॥

IAST Transliteration

itas tataś cālyamāno yat kiñcit prāṇa-vāyunā |

srotasā nīyate dāru yathā nimnonnata-sthalam ||

Translation

ပရာဏဝါယုကြောင့် ဤကိုယ်-စိတ်စုစည်းမှုသည် ဒီဘက်ဟိုဘက် လှုပ်ရှားသမျှ အရာအားလုံးသည် စီးကြောင်းအလိုက် သယ်ဆောင်ခံရ၏—နိမ့်မြင့်မြေပြင်ကို ဖြတ်သန်းသွားသော ရေစီးထဲက သစ်တုံးတစ်တုံးကဲ့သို့။

Academic Translation

Moved this way and that by the vital wind, whatever (this body-mind complex is), it is carried along by the current—like a piece of wood (carried) over low and high ground (by a stream).
