यक्ष उवाच । वरं प्रयच्छसि यदि विप्रवर्य मदीप्सितम् । ममांगमतिदुर्गंधि शापाच्च नृपतेरभूत् । सुगन्धयितुं ब्रह्मर्षे तत्प्रसीद मुनीश्वर
yakṣa uvāca | varaṃ prayacchasi yadi vipravarya madīpsitam | mamāṃgamatidurgaṃdhi śāpācca nṛpaterabhūt | sugandhayituṃ brahmarṣe tatprasīda munīśvara
ယက္ခ က မိန့်သည်။ «အကယ်၍ ဆုတောင်းတစ်ပါး ပေးမည်ဆိုလျှင်၊ ဗြာဟ္မဏအထွဋ်အမြတ်ရေ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်လိုအပ်သည့်အရာကို ပေးပါ။ ဘုရင်၏ ကျိန်စာကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်၏ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာသည် အလွန်အမင်း အနံ့ဆိုးလာ၏။ ဘြဟ္မရ္ရှီရေ၊ မုနိအရှင်ရေ—ကျေးဇူးပြု၍ ကျွန်ုပ်ကို မွှေးကြိုင်စေပါ»။
