इला तु कथ्यते भूमिः सुपर्णेन प्रतिष्ठिता । ततः सुपर्णेलेत्येव नाम्ना पातकनाशिनी
ilā tu kathyate bhūmiḥ suparṇena pratiṣṭhitā | tataḥ suparṇeletyeva nāmnā pātakanāśinī
ဤမြေကို «ဣလာ» ဟု ခေါ်ကြပြီး၊ စုပဏ္ဏ (ဂရုဍ) က တည်ထောင်ထားသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် «စုပဏ္ဏေလာ» ဟူသော အမည်ဖြင့်—အပြစ်ပယ်ဖျက်သူ—ဟု သိကြသည်။
